Knights Templar Origins
Hmmm…About Us
It all started in about 1997. Well Below Cobra tells it pretty well.
Knight Templar was started. We have gone through many games, including RS, RvS, GR, AA, JO, BF2, GRAW, RSV, and CS:S, Crysis, GRAW 2, COD4, L4D, AA3. We are currently anxiously awaiting MW2.

Regretably we have also gone through many members. Many just stick about for a game and leave after the clan moves on. We do not stick with the same old games, as some clans do. We are always looking for a new game to increase our skills and interest.
If you think you have what it takes to be a member of this clan, join us in a game and in our TeamSpeak server.
Ric and I were stationed in a clan called United Soldiers (US) along with two other brave volunteers. We four fought to maintain the balance within the clan, but to no avail. Politics got in the way. Clanmates were literally fighting every night for each others’ rank within the clan. A very important decision HAD to be made. Therefore, within the darkness, keeping within in the shadows were three members of US – those to whom had decided that it was just too unstable to stay where they were. Those persons’ names were Grady, Pointman, and… RicRogue. That’s right, RicRogue. Many of you know him as Ric. While this scheming was underway, US, while involved in it’s politics, had no idea that their once extremely strong empire would crumble from within itself.

At this time, I, Cobra, was at the top of the mountain in this organization, trying my hardest to keep it together and known as an organization. There was literally more talking and politics than there was gaming. You see, the way Rogue Spear was designed was that once the game was over (after everyone was killed or one team was victorious) everyone would be sent back into the game setup lobby. It was there where you would set up kit restrictions, map choice, camouflage differences, etc. As I said before, there were more politics and discussion/arguing than there was playing. US also used to ladder, so that didn’t help. Anyway, one night at the peak of our nightly disagreements and discussion, a message popped up on my screen from RicRogue. It was a message asking me if I would be interested in leaving US with him, Pointman, and Grady to start our very own clan. A clan that, to this day, would be renowned internationally.
It was then when I had to make a strong and difficult decision to leave, but I had good friendship with these three fellows and knew that it was for the best and that I would be happy with them. I reported my decision to the US clan leader on his return from vacation. Approximately, three to four weeks later… United Soldiers were no more. They had fallen in on themselves ironically just like the Roman Empire. Without the four of us, US was done for and the start of a new, better, friendlier, much more organized clan had emerged from the heavens.
The Knights Templar, with a history of their own, was started and is only continuously getting stronger. Special thanks go out to Ric because I know that if he had not stayed and bared the worst KT would have never lasted. Special thanks also go out to every member in KT for helping us be who we are today, also to my friend Mongoose who has also bared some pretty rough, and smooth, times in KT.
So, children – that is the story of where the name KT_Cobra came from and also the story of how the Knights Templar was created. I hope you enjoy reading this just as much as I have enjoyed remembering the “good ‘ole days”.
I joined the clan around 2007. The guys had already been well established by that time but they welcomed me with open arms, well Desert Eagles at the time, as we were playing Counter-strike Source. RicRouge and Cobra tried not to laugh too hard while i learned about the new world of online multiplayer gaming. “Oh so the Bad guys are the ones with ski masks”. In the early days I would fall off the planet and receive a call from Mongoose, a great guy who always makes sure our fellow clan mates are doing okay. A few years later I recruited My co-worker and former classmate Fox. The Days of L4D had began. We spent many a nights playing both co-op and 4v4. And who can forget the 3 hour long games of AOE2? That reminds me where is KT_Hunter? Currently you will usually find me playing Dead by Daylight, or when KT_Scott is around he usually wrangles up a crew for Sea of Thieves. I look forward to making the KT clan a comfortable home for our new recruits the same as our Elders before us have done for me.
